This page explains, in plain words, what grannyida.life (Granny Ida's Cookstove Almanac) collects and what it does with it. Questions go to ida@grannyida.life.

Your email address

When you ask for the 5 Free Money-Savers, we keep your email address (and your first name, if you give it) so we can send you the PDF and, now and again, an old trick. It is stored with our email provider, Resend.

Visits to the site

We use Google Analytics to count visits, see which pages people read, and learn where visitors come from (for example YouTube or Facebook) and whether they signed up or clicked to buy. Google Analytics sets cookies and processes your IP address and browser details on Google's servers; it does not tell us who you are. You can read how Google uses this data, block it with the Google Analytics opt-out add-on, or turn off cookies in your browser.

The site also remembers, in your own browser only, whether you have already seen the pop-up or signed up, so it doesn't pester you.

Buying the book

The book is sold through Gumroad. Your payment and billing details go to Gumroad and its payment processors, never to us. We see your name, email and what you bought, so we can help with downloads and refunds. See Gumroad's privacy policy.

Your choices and rights

Wherever you live, you can ask us what we hold about you, ask us to correct it, or ask us to delete it, by writing to ida@grannyida.life. We answer within 30 days. If you live in California or the European Union you have these rights by law, and we extend them to everyone.

Children

This site is for grown folks. We don't knowingly collect anything from children under 13.

Changes

If we change how we handle your information, we'll update this page and the date at the top.
